Mrs Lipshaw led today’s welcome back assembly all about Kindness. She spoke about little acts of kindness and how these can make others feel happy, loved and spread joy. She spoke about why it is important to be kind and how it can make us feel good to help others feel happy. It is also important to be kind to the environment, as well as each other. She also taught the children about empathy and how if we practice empathy and kindness together we can create stronger friendships.

Assembly ended with a challenge - to be EXTRA kind this week. See if you notice your children doing random acts of kindness and please do praise them if they do!
