Our year 4 children were conducting a science experiment to see if the viscosity of liquids had an impact on their speed of travel. The tested 5 different liquids and timed how long they took to reach the bottom of a ramp. The liquids were water, vegetable oil, washing up liquid, shampoo and salt water - and each liquid was tested 3 times. The children had made predictions and then recorded the results.
