Year 4 are currently writing newspaper reports. They have learnt about the features and will be writing their own report. They will be basing this on the picture book, 'The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs', an alternative to the traditional tale of the 3 Pigs. To make the experience interesting and memorable the Year 4 teachers took on the role of different characters and acted out a court scene. The children were present as the reporters and needed to note down what the eye-witnesses said happened. Was the wolf really bad and guilty of eating the pigs or was it an accident? They came up with their own verdict based on the evidence and will turn this information into a news report.
