“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela
At Sinai, we are passionate about educational excellence. We seek to deliver an outstanding, broad and balanced curriculum, which covers all the objectives and requirements of the new curriculum, with further enrichment and cross curricular opportunities.
Sinai’s Curriculum Vision
To ensure all children have the opportunity to be immersed in the world around them, including the immediate and wider world in which they live. Our curriculum is centred around building experiences to develop the children’s knowledge and skills.
Children are given the opportunities and experiences to understand and explore key values to guide and shape their thinking and behaviours.
We believe it’s important to broaden our children’s views, preparing them to enter society and to be accepting of difference and be accountable for social responsibility.
Sinai’s Curriculum Intent Statement
We place the children at the centre of their learning: immersing them in memorable moments; actively engaging lessons and creating meaningful links within our learning.
Our broad and balanced curriculum allows children to build on their knowledge, understanding and skills progressively for each next stage in their education and their future. We ensure children are confident in reading, writing and maths, which supports them in fully accessing all subjects in our thought provoking, inspirational and enriching curriculum.
We give every child the opportunity to achieve. Children are challenged to master and articulate their understanding in each subject. The impact of our curriculum ensures that our pupils are successful, resilient self-motivated and confident learners.
At Sinai we develop the skills and attitudes that help children become life-long learners and to succeed in their future.
