Our year 3 children were really enjoying their Science experiment today. They were using a light meter app and a diffuser to see how much light travels through different materials. They were looking at foil, cellophane, wood, paper and plastic to determine if the materials were opaque, translucent or transparent. They then discussed which would be the best material to use for a pair of sunglasses.
