Year 3 Torah Workshop

Following on from the Year 3 Chagigah in the Autumn Term, the Year 3 pupils have used their Chumash book this year to delve deeply into Torah text. A fitting end to this year was the opportunity to experience the Tzivos Hashem Torah Factory, a workshop that showed the making of a Torah Scroll. Starting with rawhide, the process was followed through until the parchment was complete. Pupils examined the parchments inside a Mezuzah and Tefillin, and were then able to try their hand at scribal arts using a quill and ink. This was a memorable learning experience for the children and a meaningful way to finish their Chumash studies this year.
