Year 4 have been learning about circuits in Science and put their knowledge to good us when they built their own torches in DT. They first had to create the housing of the torch, then the switch using a split pin switch mechanism, then they made a reflector, secured the bulb and positioned the circuitry. They then tested their working torches which was very impressive. The final stage will be adding design extras.
