Welcome to a new school year and the children are so happy to be back. All corners of the school are happy and busy, just as we like it.
Mrs Lipshaw led a gorgeous welcome back assembly all about ‘Caring’. She explained that caring is shown in the choices we make every day and they looked at about caring for people, caring for learning and caring for our school. This was then linked to our school rules. The children then all made a caring promise:
I will be respectful – because people matter.
I will be responsible – because my choices matter.
I will be ready – because learning matters.
I will be the best I can be – because my future matters.
Together will can be kind, caring and have a brilliant school year.
